Meet Jo

Hi, I’m a certified baby and toddler sleep consultant, a mum to a 22-month-old, and a primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience working with young children. Becoming a mum made me truly appreciate the importance of healthy sleep habits for the whole family.

I know how exhausting sleep struggles can be—I’ve been in your shoes, wondering, "Is sleep training right for us?" or "Will I upset my baby?" But when I discovered a gentle, responsive sleep training method, everything changed. My son learned to self-settle, slept through the night and our daily routine finally fell into place. We were all happier, well-rested and able to enjoy precious family moments.

Experiencing this transformation firsthand inspired me to deepen my knowledge of infant and toddler sleep science and become a certified sleep consultant. Now, I’m passionate about helping exhausted parents navigate sleep struggles including; frequent night wakings, early risings, short naps and sleep regressions—all while using a gentle, supportive approach tailored to your child’s needs.

  • I was pretty much at rock bottom with my two year old’s sleeping when I reached out to Jo; he was waking frequently in the night, sometimes for up to three hours and was unable to settle himself at bedtime or during night wakes. It has taken a couple of months (this has probably been longer for us as my little one transfers between my house and his dad’s, so he has had to learn a new routine across two settings) but he is now able to go to sleep independently and sleeps through the night so much more consistently.   • Jo has revolutionised my 5 month old daughter’s sleep!

    My daughter has never been a great sleeper, I aways put it down to her being breastfed, quite fussy and being assured by many parents that ‘she’ll get the hang of sleeping after the 4 month sleep regression’.

    Back in September when she was 5 months old, after weeks of her waking every hour during the night, I was absolutely exhausted and reached out to Jo for some help to teach her how to sleep so that we could both feel more rested.

    Before the 4 month sleep regression I was able to get her to sleep by rocking/patting and she would wake up from a nap quite content. However, after the regression passed she was very hard to get to sleep and would wake up after short 30 min naps very grouchy, it was making me feel very anxious about putting her down for a nap/bedtime.

    Jo is incredibly warm, friendly and knowledgable. I instantly felt that Jo could help us to transform our daughter's sleep and, in turn, my sleep! She put together a sleep training plan for the next 2 weeks and talked me through every stage.

    On the second night my little one went to sleep on her own in 30 minutes, and it kept getting better and better. Jo’s plan has totally revolutionised my daughter's sleep. She is much happier as a result, and I feel more relaxed and well rested!

    It was really hard knowing who to turn to for support, but I’m so glad I had Jo’s support and robust, yet gentle, plan. Jo was so supportive, checking in with me twice a day, always answering my WhatsApp messages and being my cheerleader when I needed it the most.
